Three arrested in fatal majorda bullfight case; Police probe ongoing

South Goa, Sep 23: South Goa Superintendent of Police Tikam Singh Verma has confirmed the arrest of three individuals linked to the fatal bullfight incident in Majorda that claimed the life of Rajesh Nisatani, a resident of Chandor.

The tragic incident, which occurred during an illegal bullfight event, also left three other participants injured. Authorities have launched a full-scale investigation into the matter.

According to police, five individuals have been booked in connection with organizing and participating in the event. Of these, three have been taken into custody, while efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the remaining two.

The bullfight, which is banned under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, has raised concerns over ongoing illegal animal fighting events in the region. Further legal action is expected as the investigation progresses.
