Mangaluru, Sep 25: The Ministry of Railways has approved the South Western Railway’s proposal to impose a line block till December 15 for electrical line works in the ghat section between Sakaleshpur and Subrahmanya Road. As a result, the cancellation of several daytime trains has been extended.

Train No. 16539 Yeshwantpur–Mangaluru Junction weekly train will remain cancelled till December 13, while Train No. 16540 Mangaluru Junction–Yeshwantpur weekly train will remain cancelled till December 14. Train No. 16575 Yeshwantpur–Mangaluru Junction tri-weekly Gomateshwara Express will remain cancelled till December 14, and Train No. 16576 Mangaluru Junction–Yeshwantpur tri-weekly Gomateshwara Express will remain cancelled till December 15.

Similarly, Train No. 16515 Yeshwantpur–Karwar tri-weekly train will remain cancelled till December 15, and Train No. 16516 Karwar–Yeshwantpur tri-weekly train will remain cancelled till December 16.
