St Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa qualifies for Mysore Division Handball championship

Mangaluru, Sep 25: St Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa, has scripted a glorious chapter in its sporting journey by securing a hat-trick of championships at the District-Level Handball Tournament, organised by the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat School Education Department in association with Bharath High School, Ullal.

In a display of determination, discipline, and teamwork, the school’s under-17 boys, under-14 boys, and under-14 girls teams emerged as District Champions, earning the coveted opportunity to represent Dakshina Kannada at the Mysore Divisional-Level Tournament in Chamarajanagar.

Outstanding individual achievements

Under-17 boys: Daivik C Poojary – honoured as Outstanding All-Rounder
Under-14 boys: Vilash Karan Rai – awarded Best Goalkeeper
Under-14 girls: Jane J Pinto – celebrated as Best Player
