20 Feared Dead in Bus Accident


Jammu, Feb 10 (IANS): At least 20 people were feared killed when a minibus in which they were travelling fell from a hilly road into the Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir Friday morning, police said.

Two of the injured have been rescued.

According to police, the mini bus was on its way from Gandoh to Thatri in the mountainous Doda district when it met with the accident. The bus rolled down at least 300 feet below from the hilly road into the river.

The cause of the accident was not yet known, police said.

    As my Opinion is that, there is a very hectic transport on that highway...and i also examine the Moving of veichles at a very high speed,,,The alternate is that ,the road from thatri to Gandoh should be Widened...and the Strict transport rules should imposed on drivers,,,,
