Shivamogga, Sep 22: The Sacred Heart Cathedral Youth Jubilee began with Holy Eucharist at 9 am, celebrated by Fr Franklin D'Souza, and the concelebrants were Fr Stany D'Souza, rector of Sacred Heart Cathedral; Fr Jostro MSFS, assistant parish priest of Sacred Heart Cathedral; and Dn Johnson.

In his homily, Fr Franklin D'Souza preached about how to connect with the Lord Jesus Christ and his teachings, which bring healing to the youngsters. He specially prayed over the youth. The liturgy was meaningfully animated by the members of Youth of the Parish.

Following the Eucharistic celebration at 11 am, a well-organised programme was held. The youth took part enthusiastically in the various sessions and activities. The programme included group dynamics conducted by Dn Johnson and an enthusiastic, meaningful session conducted by Fr Franklin D'Souza on "Self-esteem".

The participation and involvement of the youth highlighted their spirit of unity, faith, and commitment to the mission of the Church.

Fr Stany D'Souza, rector of the Cathedral, inspired the youth with his take-home message through his spiritual capsules, saying, "Awake, Arise, and Act." The Youth Jubilee concluded on a joyful note with words encouraging them to actively participate in Church activities.
