Kundapura, Sep 27: The staff development committee of Moodlakatte Nursing College organised a special guest lecture on the theme “Workplace Stress Relief and Work-Life Balance” at the college campus. The programme was designed to guide staff in managing job-related stress and maintaining a healthy balance between personal and professional responsibilities.

Soujanya Shetty, administrator of Udupi Dr A V Baliga Memorial Hospital, served as the chief resource person. In her address, she highlighted practical techniques for stress reduction and shared strategies to enhance work-life balance. She underscored the significance of self-care, effective time management, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

The event was presided over by Prof Jennifer Frieda Menezes, principal of Moodlakatte Nursing College. vice principal Roopashree K S, Dr Prof Padmacharana Swain, dean of IMJ Allied Health Sciences and Moodlakatte College of physiotherapy, along with teaching and non-teaching staff, were present on the occasion.

The staff actively engaged in the session, making the program lively and interactive. Lecturer Kumari added a cultural touch by narrating the Kirtana programme.

As a token of gratitude, Soujanya Shetty was felicitated with a memento. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks.
