Puttur: Rape-cheating by BJP leader’s son case – DNA report confirms

Daijiworld Media Network – Puttur

Puttur, Sep 28: In connection with a case where a woman was allegedly raped under the pretext of marriage and later abandoned after becoming pregnant, the DNA test report has now been released.

The report has confirmed that the blood sample of the accused, BJP leader’s son Sri Krishna, matches and that he is the father of the child. This information was revealed by state president of Vishwakarma Maha Mandal, K P Nanjundi, during a press conference held in Puttur on Sep 27. He stated that the report submitted to the court on Sep 26 confirmed Sri Krishna J Rao, son of BJP leader P J Jagannivas Rao, as the father of the child. The victim’s family has also been informed, he added, stressing that injustice has been done to a poor woman from society.

“In earlier times, Sita Mata had to undergo an ordeal by fire. In today’s times, DNA testing is the ultimate truth. In this case too, the report has come out clearly and has already been submitted to court,” he said.

Nanjundi further stated, “Our demand is that Sri Krishna J Rao, son of P J Jagannivas Rao, must marry the victim. Marriage would be good for both parties. We do not want a prolonged court process. However, the law will take its own course in this matter.”

The victim, her mother, and leaders of the association were present at the press conference.

The victim should not opt to marry him as this marriage may not be happy and may not last long and it may harm the victim further including losing life. She should insist on monetary compensation to raise the child and for herself for Rs 100 crores.

Damodar Das, I read your comments and agreed with everything till I read with your 100 cr figure. Why people go to the extreme. The figure should be reasonable, somewhere between the boy or his families ability to pay and Resettling the girl to a broader mindset and capable person.

"if the girl is not a minor, it's her big mistake in involving herself in amorous activities & carry on with the pregnancy, only on the verbal promise of marriage;" 100% true ! A college student involving in such dreadful, immoral sexual act is against all moral ethics and dignified way of life. As usual, at the end boy is at the receiving end. If at all she had revisited or fought against the boy, things would not have gone so bad! There is a saying 'one cannot cherish/eat the cake and preserve the same'

" my (your) opinion do not go thru another ordeal by marrying this unfaithful person" Third person cannot make decision nor advise in the matter. Let Girls parents including the mother of the child take a firm decision what not to do. A sinner must be be taught a lesson of life.

Both these people boy and girl knew very well that their caste system will be a obstacle in getting married and should have avoided the relationship. This guy can't do anything at his own and his parents are taking decisions for his life which will be disastrous for the girl and child. Sue him for solid amount of child maintenance and compensation and lead the life independently for a peaceful future.

Speaking unbiasedly, if the girl is not a minor, it's her big mistake in involving herself in amorous activities & carry on with the pregnancy, only on the verbal promise of marriage; best solution would be to file a suit for financial compensation, rather than forcing him to get married!! Please note this is a very personal opinion!

Yes . Practically what you said stands relevant, because forcibly they can get married, but how they can lead a good life afterwards is the big question. Other side if settlement done by compensating with money !!! what will the fate of that girl?? who will marry her? so her life is on jeopardy. Anyways it is a serious matter.
