Mangaluru, Sept 28: The much-celebrated Kambala buffalo racing season in coastal Karnataka is set to commence on November 15, 2025, bringing back the adrenaline-pumping traditional sport after the off-season.

The official calendar for this year’s festivities was unveiled on Sunday, September 28, confirming a series of exciting race events across the region.

This year, once again, races in Bengaluru and Shivamogga will not take place due to logistical reasons, keeping the spotlight firmly on the coastal heartlands where Kambala enjoys its strongest roots.
