Mangaluru: MSNIM organizes Career Expo 2025 – Job fair

Mangaluru, Sep 29: The Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) organized the ‘MSNIM Career Expo 2025 – Job Fair’ on Thursday, September 25 at its MSNIM Besant Campus in Bondel, Mangaluru. The day-long event attracted over 500 job seekers, primarily fresh graduates from streams including BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BCA, BHM, MCom, MCA, MBA, BE, BTech, and MTech. A total of 35 companies participated, offering a range of pay scales, with the highest package reaching Rs 5 lac per annum.

Abhinav Bansal, vice chairman of CII Mangaluru and managing director of Brightflexi International Private Limited, was the chief guest for the inauguration, while Manel Annappa Nayak, president of the Women’s National Education Society (WNES), presided over the programme. Ajith Kamath, correspondent, MSNIM, and the Institute director, Dr Molly S Chaudhuri, were present.

Speaking at the event, Abhinav Bansal highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between education and employment. “The job fair reflects the hard work of the faculty, who have equipped students not only with knowledge but also with employability skills, confidence, and the right attitude to succeed. Students should make the most of this opportunity to network, ask thoughtful questions, and show their passion. I urge recruiters to guide students in their work, benefiting both their organizations and the nation,” he said.

In his presidential address, Manel Annappa Nayak emphasized the institute’s commitment to industry-ready education. “We have trained our students to meet industry standards. We hope recruiters will help our young talent secure meaningful employment. Students should attend as many interviews as possible and make full use of this opportunity,” he said.

Ajith K Kamath extended best wishes to all the candidates participating in the fair. Second-year MBA student Nikitha welcomed the gathering, while Shreya Mahale, Sheethala Rai and Prathijna introduced the dignitaries. Krithika Bhat delivered the vote of thanks. Karishma Shetty served as the master of ceremonies. Assistant professors Nanditha Sunil and Arpitha Devadiga were the programme coordinators.
