Karkala: Miscreants threaten woman with deadly weapons, steal three cattle

Karkala, Sep 30: In a shocking incident, miscreants brandishing deadly weapons threatened a woman and stole three cattle from her house at Shirlalu in Karkala taluk late Sunday night.

The incident took place at the residence of a woman named Jayashree.

The culprits entered the cattle shed, where they forcefully took away three cattle.

At the time, the woman was alone at home. When she came out after hearing some noise, the miscreants, who had arrived in a vehicle, threatened her with weapons before fleeing with the cattle.

The incident has caused concern among the local residents. A case has been registered at the Ajekar police station.

    Cow stealers are merciless. I recall an incident just like this a thief took a milking cow. Owner informed police and with the support of police followed him but the butcher had taken action.
