Mangaluru, Sep 30: Dasara 2025 was celebrated on September 30 at the campus of Milagres College, Hampankatte. As part of the programme, students of Milagres College performed the Navadurga dance. The highlight of the event was the traditional Pili Nalike (tiger dance).

Dr Alwyn Serrao, principal of Milagres College, speaking on the occasion, said, “Dasara is one among the festivals that represents our culture. The festive spirit is being witnessed throughout the land. Let us all come together and celebrate it with joy.”

The celebration also featured cultural performances by students showcasing music and dance based on the theme of Dasara. The event was coordinated by Akash Shetty (dasara coordinator), Samitha Kotian (cultural association coordinator) and Preemal (special program coordinator).

Faculty members, staff, and students were present in large numbers. The programme was compered by lecturer Chaitra D.
