Mangaluru, Oct 2: Carmel School, Kotekar, observed Gandhi Jayanthi on October 2 with great respect and reverence to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
The programme commenced with a meaningful prayer service led by the teachers, invoking peace, harmony, and gratitude for the timeless values Gandhiji gifted to the world. This was followed by the floral tribute to Gandhiji’s portrait, as staff and students paid homage in silence, honoring his sacrifice and contributions to India’s freedom struggle.

During the prayer service, special intentions were offered, highlighting Gandhiji’s principles of truth, non-violence, simplicity, and service to humanity.
