In his inspiring homily, Fr Vivek emphasised the importance of nurturing faith in young hearts and encouraged the youth to use their talents in service of the Church and community. The liturgy, readings, and choir were beautifully conducted by the youth, creating an atmosphere of devotion and gratitude.

The stage celebration commenced with a prayer hymn rendered melodiously by the youth choir members. Samuel Rodrigues, president of CAL, extended a warm welcome to all priests, dignitaries and youths present.
The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the parish vicar Fr Walter D’Souza, assistant priests Fr Arun Lobo, Fr Vivek Pinto, Fr Ozmond D’Souza along with other dignitaries, symbolising the light of faith and hope among the youth.
A highlight of the evening was the felicitation of youth leaders who have rendered dedicated service in the parish and at the diocesan level. The honourees were Muriel Mascarenhas, Sonali D’Souza, Alok D’Souza, Shawn D’Souza, and Sujay Fernandes. Each was recognised for their leadership, commitment, and contribution to various youth movements and activities.

He expressed joy in seeing the youth grow spiritually and socially, contributing to the vibrancy of the parish.
In a touching gesture, Fr Walter and the assistant priests sang a special song written and composed by Fr Walter himself, as a token of appreciation and blessing for the youth.
The celebration continued with fun games conducted by Samuel Rodrigues, which brought laughter and excitement among all the young participants. This was followed by a series of cultural performances – energetic dances, soulful songs presented by the youth teams.
