Mangalore, Feb 12: In response to the ‘porn video’ incident which took place in the assembly and created uproar in the entire nation, Krishna Palemar has said that he was innocent and was being made a scapegoat.
"I have been made a scapegoat. I am suffering for no fault of mine as I am innocent. I will come out of this bad time. I remain very grateful to all my supporters, followers and party members."
He further said that he had not committed any crime as alleged. "Can anyone provide a proper proof that it was my mobile and that I have watched or passed on such a message?" he questioned.
"I have always worked and concentrated on improving the developmental works for the benefit of citizens," he said and added, "The reason for me to resign was not that I did a mistake, rather, I did not want my district or state to have a shady image."
“It is time and again alleged in the media that three 'tainted' ministers were involved in the porn video incident and it is hurting me. My name doesn’t deserve to be there. My people know I am not guilty. They are my strength," Palemar said.
