Critically acclaimed Kannada film ‘School Leader’ to be screened in Dubai on Oct 26

Dubai, Oct 10: After completing a successful 55-day run across Karnataka and earning widespread acclaim from audiences, the Kannada film ‘School Leader’ is set to be screened in Dubai on October 26. The special screening will be held at Star Galleria Cinema, Grand Hyatt, at 3:30 pm, in association with the SVS Old Students Association, Katpady–Dubai chapter.

Produced by K Satyendra Pai, School Leader has already received four prestigious international awards and has been successfully screened in cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth in Australia, as well as Muscat (Oman) and Bahrain. The film has reportedly drawn packed audiences and received overwhelming appreciation from Kannadigas abroad.

Directed by State Award-winning filmmaker Razak Puttur, with cinematography by Mohan Padre, music by Jay Karthi, and associate direction by Akshath Vitla, School Leader has made a strong mark both in India and overseas.

The film features prominent coastal film industry artistes including Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Deepak Rai, senior Sandalwood actor Ramesh Bhat, Nagesh Kamath Katpady, Sudarshan Puttur, Deeksha Rai, Sreejay, Drisha Kodagu, Tanmay, and Yashas P Suvarna Katpady. Additionally, over 120 high school students from 25 schools across Mangaluru and Udupi districts have acted in the film.

The entire movie was shot at the historic SVS School in Katpady, which has a legacy of 75 years.
