Hyderabad, Oct 13: In a shocking revelation from Hyderabad, the supervisor of Saidabad juvenile home was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting six boys at the facility. The case came to light when a 10-year-old boy, returning home for Dussehra holidays, refused to go back and narrated his ordeal to his mother.
Following her complaint, the police took the 27-year-old supervisor into custody. Investigations revealed that five more boys had been victimised by the accused. Saidabad police confirmed that the matter is under active investigation.

Meanwhile, in Maharashtra’s Palghar district, a brick kiln owner and his son were booked for allegedly assaulting a tribal worker and forcing his 13-year-old daughter to work at their Thane unit.
The worker, from Palghar, had been employed between November 2024 and May 2025 without a proper employment bond. The accused allegedly beat him for not performing tasks properly and made his minor daughter work despite knowing her age.
Authorities are investigating both incidents, highlighting growing concerns over child safety and exploitation in institutional and labour settings.
