Jalakatti, Oct 17: A serious road accident occurred on Thursday morning around 8:30 am near Jalakatti on the Ramnagar–Goa National Highway, when a tour and travel vehicle carrying a family from Bengaluru to Goa overturned unexpectedly.
The vehicle was carrying seven passengers at the time of the incident. The driver, Prajwal (25), a resident of Bengaluru, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Ramnagar Health Centre by ambulance for urgent medical treatment.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and have launched an investigation. The exact cause of the mishap remains unknown, and authorities are currently working to determine the circumstances that led to the vehicle overturning.
