Mangaluru, Oct 21: Ladyhill English Medium Higher Primary School (ICSE) shimmered with festive joy as the students of grade 4A and 4B presented a vibrant and meaningful Deepavali celebration.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the principal, Sr Jenifer Moras AC, and the vice principal, Lavita Correa, whose encouraging presence added warmth to the occasion.
The programme began with a prayer service, invoking divine blessings for peace and prosperity. The traditional lamp-lighting ceremony illuminated the stage, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

Rithvik extended a cheerful welcome, while Pradhyumna V beautifully highlighted the significance of Deepavali, reminding everyone of the festival’s deeper meaning of spreading light through love and kindness.
The audience was treated to a graceful group dance and a melodious group song, both reflecting the joy and radiance of the festival. A thought-provoking Nukkad Natak stole the spotlight, carrying a powerful message on celebrating a green and safe Deepavali, inspiring everyone to embrace eco-friendly celebrations and safeguard the environment.
In her address, principal Sr Jenifer Moras AC appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers. She encouraged everyone to celebrate Deepavali not just with lights, but with hearts filled with compassion, gratitude, and goodness.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Kanish, who expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. The programme was gracefully compered by Vienna and Aradhya Poojary.
