New Delhi, Oct 22: In a shocking case of revenge and brutality, a five-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped and murdered by a driver employed in his father’s transport business in Delhi’s Narela area on Tuesday. Police said the accused, identified as Nitu, killed the child using bricks and a knife before fleeing from the spot.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North) Hareshwar Swami, a distress call reporting the child’s kidnapping was received around 3.30 pm at Narela Industrial Area Police Station. Preliminary investigations revealed that the minor was playing outside his house when he suddenly went missing.

As the family and neighbours began searching for him, they made a horrifying discovery — the boy’s lifeless body was found inside the rented accommodation of the accused driver, Nitu, who has been missing since the incident.
Police sources said the motive behind the gruesome act appears to be revenge. A day earlier, Nitu had been reprimanded and allegedly slapped by the boy’s father after a drunken altercation between Nitu and another driver, Wasim. The child’s father, who owns seven to eight transport vehicles, had intervened to stop the brawl, which seemingly enraged the accused.
“Humiliated over being scolded, Nitu kidnapped the boy on Tuesday, took him to his room, and murdered him using bricks and a knife,” DCP Swami stated.
The police team immediately reached the spot and rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. A case has been registered, and multiple teams have been deployed to trace and arrest the absconding accused.
“Technical surveillance, local intelligence, and CCTV footage from the surrounding areas are being examined to locate Nitu,” the DCP added.
The gruesome murder has sent shockwaves through the Narela area, with locals demanding swift justice for the innocent child.
