Chandigarh, Oct 22: What was once a trend among diamond traders and companies in Surat—gifting lavish presents like cars and apartments to employees during Diwali—has now extended to the pharmaceutical industry. This festive season, a Haryana-based pharmaceutical company has gifted 51 luxury cars to its employees as part of its Diwali celebrations. A video showing the company owner handing over the car keys has gone viral on social media.
M K Bhatia, founder and chairman of the MITS Group headquartered in Panchkula, Haryana, presented 51 Scorpio cars to 51 of his employees, marking a grand Diwali celebration. The viral video captures Bhatia personally handing over the car keys to the selected employees.

Bhatia’s journey is one of perseverance and success. He began with a small medical shop in 2002, which unfortunately ran into heavy losses and went bankrupt. Refusing to give up, Bhatia worked tirelessly and went on to establish MITS in 2015, achieving remarkable success in the pharmaceutical industry.
Today, Bhatia owns 12 companies under the MITS Group, which manufactures medicines used in intensive care units. The company is also expanding globally, having already secured licenses in Canada, London, and Dubai. The MITS Group currently records an annual turnover of Rs 100 crore.
