St Aloysius Gonzaga School welcomes student exchange team from Milan, Italy

Mangaluru, Oct 28: St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangaluru, extended a warm welcome to the student exchange team from Istituto Leone XIII, Milan, Italy, on October 25. Principal Fr Rohan D Almeida SJ welcomed the group and introduced them to the students. The visiting team comprises Bernadette Walshe, teacher coordinator, and her students.

The Italian group also participated in the Deepavali celebration, adding to the festive spirit and sharing the joy of Indian culture with the school community.

The host families of the school have warmly opened their homes to the visiting students, planning a meaningful itinerary for the week-long cultural exchange. This initiative offers the guests an opportunity to experience Indian family life, traditions, and hospitality while exploring the beauty and heritage of Mangaluru.

Now in its third consecutive year, the exchange programme continues to foster global learning, cultural understanding, and lasting friendship, reflecting the Jesuit vision of forming compassionate and globally aware citizens.
