Bantwal: Man dies of electric shock while plucking coconuts

Bantwal, Nov 2: A man lost his life after being electrocuted while plucking coconuts at Alike village near Vittal.

The deceased has been identified as Ismail (37), son of Ibrahim Ustad from Alike village.

The tragic incident occurred when Ismail was using an aluminium pipe to pluck coconuts from a tree, which accidentally came in contact with an electric wire.

 

Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, and a son.

    several incidents of same nature have occurred in the past and people still do not pay attentin to safety..very sad to hear..young life lost because of negligence
