Kuwait, Nov 4: The Kuwait Pangla Association (KPA), in partnership with the Central Blood Bank – Jabriya, successfully held a blood donation campaign on October 31 from 2 pm to 7 pm. The initiative drew a robust response from the community, with over 57 individuals participating by donating blood.
The primary objective of this campaign was to raise awareness of the ongoing demand for safe blood supplies and to encourage individuals to contribute to this critical public-health need. Volunteers from KPA undertook the organisation of the event, ensuring a seamless and welcoming environment for all donors.

“Thanks to the strong community engagement we witnessed today, we are one step closer to ensuring that patients in need have access to lifesaving transfusions,” stated Nelson Monis, president of KPA. “We thank each donor for their timely and generous contribution—this campaign reinforces our commitment to fostering a healthier Kuwait,” he said.
The collaboration with Central Blood Bank – Jabriya was instrumental in delivering a professional, efficient, and safe event. Their medical personnel and appropriate equipment ensured that the donation process adhered to the highest standards. The collected units of blood will be utilised to support hospitals and patients across Kuwait who require transfusions.
Adding to the thoughtful gesture, Badr Medical Centre graciously sponsored giveaway kits for all donors as a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution.
KPA remains dedicated to advancing community health initiatives and calls on all eligible individuals to consider donating blood in upcoming campaigns. Together, we can safeguard the health and wellbeing of our community.
