Mangaluru police issue look out notice for missing woman

Mangaluru, Nov 5: The city police have issued a look out notice seeking information on a missing woman, identified as Jameela, wife of Shekhabb, a resident of Manjanady village in Mangaluru taluk.

According to police sources, Jameela, aged around 35 years, left home on May 25, 2018, around 4 pm, stating that she was going to Mangaluru city, but did not return home thereafter. Following a complaint lodged by her brother, Shoukath Ali, a resident of Badyaru, Deralakatte, in Ullal taluk, a missing person case was registered at Konaje police station.

Jameela is 35 years old, around 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a wheatish complexion and an oval face with a medium build. She has studied up to class 7 and was last seen wearing a black burqa. She is fluent in Tulu, Kannada, Malayalam, Byari, and Hindi.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jameela is requested to contact the Mangaluru city police control room at 0824-2220800 or the Konaje police station at 0824-2220536 / 9480802350.

The police have appealed to the public to assist in tracing the missing woman.
