Kundapur: Stress Awareness Day observed by Moodlakatte Nursing College

Kundapur, Nov 5: With an aim to promote awareness on mental health and stress management, Moodlakatte Nursing College organized a 'Stress Awareness Day' programme at Abhaya Mental Rehabilitation Center, a unit of Dr A V Baliga Memorial Hospital.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of principal Prof Jennifer Frieda Menezes. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp. The lighting of the lamp was performed by Maithri Shetty, Abhaya Rehabilitation Center and Chetana R, assistant lecturer, Moodlakatte Nursing College.

Sinsi compered the programme. Tesca presented on the theme of 'Optimizing employee well-being through long-term stress management' for 2025.

The students demonstrated holistic stress management methods through activities like meditation, yoga, art and craft therapy and music relaxation. The programme was successfully implemented with the active participation of students, faculty, and members of the rehabilitation center and awareness was created about healthy stress management in daily life.
