Udupi, Nov 5: The Valedictory programme of Hackothsava 2025, a 30-hour Hackathon organised by Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal on November 4 at the institution premises.
Sri Ravishankar Nateshmurthy, vice president of Technology at Neokred, Bengaluru was the chief guest for the event. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the college for giving a right platform for the students to exhibit their technical skills through this Hackothsava 2025. He advised the students to gain expertise in their field of interest which will definitely lead them to greater heights in their career path.



Sri Rathnakumar, secretary, SSVMET, Udupi, in his presidential address thanked all the companies for sponsoring the event and also providing the problem statement and mentoring the students in building a right application which would solve a real-life problem. Lastly, he stressed the need of organising such events as part of continues improvement towards the excellence to keep up the legacy of being declared as ‘Academically Autonomous Institution’ within a span of 15 years.
Team named Code Forge from JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru won the first place and bagged a cash prize of Rs 35,000 along with a trophy. They gave the solution to the problem statement given by Be Practical Tech Solutions.
Team Abra Code Abra from PA college of Engineering, Mangaluru won the second place and bagged a cash prize of Rs 25,000 along with the trophy. They gave the solution to the problem statement given by Karmic Solutions.
Team Tech4Good from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysuru, Neuratron a combined team from Vidyavardhaka college of Engineering and JSSST University, team Sapient Scholars from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru, team Fullstack Alchemist from Alvas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Moodabidri solved the problem statements given by Real Meta, SangamOne Connected Services Private Limited, Kroolo and Tetherfi respectively were selected as teams with best innovative solution.
Dr Radhakrishna S Aithal, CEO of Sode Group of Institutions, Dr Nagaraj Bhat, dean, Academics, and Sumedh Navuda, student coordinator, Hackothsava 2025 were present on the dais. Sumayya Riaz compered the programme and the event was coordinated by Savitha Shenoy from department of CSE.
