Porngate: Disgraced Ex-ministers Reply to Show-cause Notice

Bangalore, Feb 16 (PTI): Three former Karnataka BJP ministers, who lost their jobs over watching porn film clippings on mobile when the Assembly was in session, today submitted their replies to the show-cause notice slapped on them by Speaker K G Bopaiah.

The trio -- Laxman Savadi, C C Patil and Krishna Palemar sent in their seperate replies to the speaker and their respective aides handed over them to Assembly Secretary, Om Prakash.

Prakash told PTI that the replies submitted in sealed cover would be forwarded to the Speaker.

Bopaiah told reporters that the replies by the three former ministers had reached his secretariat and he was yet to take a look at it.

Bopaiah is expected to form a six-member house panel to probe the episode that took place inside the state assembly on February seven.

He said he would take a decision on the formation of the committee to probe the matter and also on consulting opposition Congress and JDS, which have already decided against nominating their members on the panel.

While Savadi and Patil face allegations of watching the sleazy clippings, Palemar is accused of supplying them to Savadi.

    When smaller mis-deeds were permitted by BJP admin, of it's members or of it's affiliates, they got more courageous for larger things.

    Had BJP high-command curbed beginner mis-deeds (against other community, public speeches, rave parties etc), this would not have happened.

    Looking at the BJP high command ability to resist shocks, these men got onto higher scale of risk.

    And, I don't think the higher-ups are still impressed. Had it been, things would be different.

    Let us wait for the next one...

    All that goes up rapidly, comes down with a thud.

    I cant understand why Sabapathi Bopayya Delaying to suspend them as they agreed their mistake. please spead up. atleast CM Sadanada Gowda can proceed the development and pending work can complete. please dont waste time to discuss these matters.

    It is requirement of Law to give opprtunity to the accused as to why action cannot be taken ? Hence a reply has been asked . The matter cannot be closed just on based of Ministers reply , the probing committe will do fact finding and then read out the verdict . This is a Advised procedure that will hold good in the cour of Law

    Palemars Reply: of course it was my mobile. But I did not told them to watch Porn film. I told them watch Rave Party clip at Udupi.
    Savadi: I was going through Palemars mobile for Rave Party clip. But it was full of Blue films and I was just searching each every clip.
    Patil: I was sleeping n Savadi told me there is some nonveg in Palemars cell phone. Instead of sleeping better watch this film for time pass.
    Bopaiah: Sare Sabooth aur byanao ke Badh ye malum hotha hai ki. Needh se chutkara pane keliye ye dekhna pada. adalath unhe maf kar dethi hai. In future blue films will be put on big LCD,s so that every one can enjoy it.

    As expected replies will be more of defending each other.One blames other to protect each of them. May be three of them have did some rehersal before issuing to Speaker!Better they reveal the truth,atleast to retain their mark.Outcome will have to wait and see!

    All three MLAs to be barred for life from political field.. Why the Committee now.. Why other MLAs disgrace by seing these clips... Not only these there charecters but also source from where distributor Palemar obtained the clips to be sent to jail.

    What reply?.
    We need no reply, just sack & ban them from politics & put them behind the bars. Thats all. There can be no excuse or any explanation. Maximum thay may say," There was dicussion going on the subject of public interest and we were not interested in that subject. So, we were watching video clipping for time pass in the assumbly".
