Udupi: SMVITM Bantakal Engineering College student wins state level karate award

Udupi, Nov 6: Ananya Bhat, a student of the department of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, has secured the runner-up prize in the Kumite (women’s 55 kg category).

Ananya Bhat won second place at the Visvesvaraya Technological University State-Level Inter Collegiate Karate Tournament 2025–26, held at R V Institute of Management, Bengaluru, between October 31 and November 1.

The management, principal and physical education director have congratulated her on this commendable achievement.
