Mangaluru, Nov 8: Prolific writer and orator Reshel Bretny Fernandes, known for her impactful literary contributions, is set to be felicitated with the Desh Ratna Award 2025 at a grand ceremony to be held at the historic Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

The prestigious award will be presented on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, in a programme organized under the association of various central ministries.

Fernandes, who has authored five notable books, is best known for her acclaimed work ‘Bharat @ 2047: Role of Youth and Surajya – Good Governance Wheel of Democracy’ under the Viksit Bharat Abhiyan of the Bhartiya Yuva Association.

Recognized for her strong advocacy of youth empowerment, democratic values, and visionary governance, Ms Fernandes continues to inspire young citizens through her writings and speeches, reflecting the ideals of a progressive and self-reliant India.
