Mangalore, Feb 16: Relating to the murder of Dinesh Raj, manager of Kanchan Textiles near Lady Goschen Hospital in the city on Tuesday February 14, the Pandeshwar police have made some progress in investigation.
Four assailants, who came at the shop at around 8 pm in a vehicle, had murdered Dinesh with sharp weapons.
Closed circuit television camera footages from various spots in the city have been verified by the police. They suspect that the killers had arrived in a maroon-coloured Scorpio vehicle.
They have found that this vehicle passed Hampankatta Circle at around 8.10 pm, and moved towards Tokkottu via Jyoti Circle and Pumpwell. Therefore, they have now extended their investigation to Tokkottu and surrounding areas, it is gathered.
