Udupi, Nov 19: A physical education teacher at Malpe Narayanaguru School, Ganesh Devadiga Marpalli (51)—also a former member of the Alevur Grama Panchayat — died on Wednesday morning after suffering a heart attack while on duty.

Ganesh had reported to school as usual, but collapsed suddenly after experiencing chest pain during his duties. He was rushed to Manipal Hospital, where doctors attempted to revive him, but he was declared dead despite their efforts.

A resident of Marpalli, he was well known in the area for his active involvement in local friends’ associations, the bhajan mandali, and the Gaddige Ammanavara Committee.

He is survived by his wife and two children.

Very sad.I say always ,before you rush to hospital first try to survive him/her by giving artificial breathing self on the spot,so that person heart or brain get some oxygen.Well not all can that ,Better health dept or Hospitals try to give such lesson to people.Heartfelt sympathys to family May his soul rest in peace.
