Mangaluru: ‘Bapache Putache Navim’ set for release at Bharath Cinemas on Nov 28

Mangaluru, Nov 27: Following a series of highly successful premiere shows, the much-acclaimed Konkani film Bapache Putache Navim is set to hit the screens at Bharath Cinemas, Mangaluru, on Friday, November 28.

Produced by Michael D’Souza and family, Dubai, under the Daijiworld Films banner, the film is backed by Vision Konkani, a cultural initiative founded by Michael D’Souza to promote Konkani language and talent.

The film has already created a record for hosting the highest number of premiere shows in a single centre, earning praise from audiences for its sincerity and cinematic quality. Critics have also commended the movie for its rich production values and crisp, engaging storytelling.

The 100-minute feature film is written and directed by noted filmmaker Stany Bela. Shooting began last November, and the team has successfully brought the film to theatres within a year. Joel Shaman has handled cinematography, Sanjay Rodrigues has composed the music, while Sharath and Kevin Mascarenhas have served as editors.

The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Sweedal D’Souza, Dayan D’Souza, Ron London, Joshal D’Souza, Sunita Menezes, Mellu Valencia, Rita Fernandes, Sapna Saldanha, Melwyn Kalakul, Vinutha D’Souza, Eddie Sequeira, John M Permannur, Walter Nandalike, Jancy Fernandes and others.

The film will also be released in Israel on November 28, followed by UAE premieres on November 29 and 30. It is scheduled to release in Udupi, Deralakatte and other centres on December 5.
