Prime Minister Narendra Modi lands in Mangaluru, heads to Udupi for event

Mangaluru, Nov 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Mangaluru International Airport on Friday to participate in a programme scheduled to be held in Udupi.

The Prime Minister landed at 10.25 am in an Indian Air Force aircraft and was welcomed on behalf of the state government by health and district in-charge minister Dinesh Gundu Rao.

MLAs Rajesh Naik and Bhagirathi Murulya, Greater Bengaluru commissioner Maheshwar Rao, police commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy, deputy commissioner H V Darshan, and several other officials were present at the airport to welcome the Prime Minister.

Following the reception, the Prime Minister proceeded to Udupi by an Air Force helicopter.
