Dubai, Nov 30: The UAE Lottery has unveiled a sweeping transformation of its popular Lucky Day draw, marking the end of the Dh100 million jackpot era and ushering in a more frequent, high-engagement format. The update was announced during the final Dh100 million draw on November 29, which concluded without a grand-prize winner.

What’s New in the Lucky Day Draw
During a live broadcast on November 29, 2025, the lottery operator confirmed major changes to the Lucky Day format:
• Weekly Draws: The game will now take place every Saturday, shifting from its previous fortnightly schedule.
The first weekly draw begins on Saturday, December 6.
• Revised Grand Prize: The top prize has been reset to Dh30 million, replacing the previous Dh100 million jackpot system.
• Boosted Second Prize: The second-tier prize has increased significantly—from Dh1 million to Dh5 million.
• Entry Cost: A single entry line remains priced at AED 50.
• Lucky Chance Raffle Adjustments:
While the guaranteed raffle continues, the number of weekly winners of the Dh100,000 prize has been reduced from seven to three.
Hosts Diala Makki and Chadi Khalaf emphasized that the changes were designed to bring “more draws, more excitement and more chances to win,” aligning with the platform’s goal of sustaining player involvement through more frequent payouts.
Farewell to the Dh100 Million Jackpot
The November 29 draw marked the official close of the Dh100 million jackpot era. No participant matched all seven numbers, leaving the massive prize unclaimed for the final time.
This cements Indian expatriate Anilkumar Bolla—who won the Dh100 million prize on October 18, 2025—as the only winner of the UAE’s largest-ever lottery payout. With the jackpot now retired, his record is set to stand indefinitely under the new structure.
Why the Overhaul?
The shift to a weekly schedule and recalibrated prizes is aimed at fostering sustained engagement rather than focusing on rare, ultra-high jackpots. By offering high-value draws every week, the UAE Lottery hopes to maintain excitement and deliver more opportunities for participants to win.
The revamped Lucky Day format officially launches on December 6, marking the beginning of its second year and a new chapter in the UAE’s fast-evolving lottery landscape.
