Goa nightclub fire: 19 victims bodies released to families, investigation ongoing

Panaji, Dec 8: In the wake of the tragic fire at Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Arpora, Goa, authorities have handed over the bodies of 19 victims to their families for last rites.

Post-mortem examinations have been completed, with 12 bodies released earlier and seven more recently handed over.

Six victims’ bodies remain at the morgue, awaiting arrival of their family members to claim them.

The devastating blaze, which claimed 25 lives in total, is still under investigation as authorities continue to determine the cause of the incident.
