Mangalore: Imam of Mecca Grand Mosque to Inaugurate Delhi Convention

Mangalore, Feb 21: The inauguration of the publicity campaign of the 31st All India Jamiath Ahle Hadis National Convention, scheduled to be held at Ramleela Maidan in Delhi on Friday March 2 and Saturday March 3 on the thesis 'Sahabas-Replica of Humanity' will be held in the city at the Town Hall on Wednesday February 22 at 4.30 pm.
 
Informing the same at a press conference held on Monday February 20, secretary of South Karnataka Salafi Movement, Ismail Shafi said that this convention which is organized once every three years will be attended by as many as 2 lac representatives and Salafi visionaries from India and abroad. The convention will be inaugurated by Mecca Masjid Al-Haram (Grand Mosque) imam Sheikh Dr Saud Al-Shuraim.
 
The publicity campaign will be held in all district centers of the state and in Mangalore Maulana Sheik Faiz Mohammed will deliver his lecture in Urdu and Maulavi Nasiruddin Rehmani will deliver the lecture in Malayalam. The theme of the lecture will be ‘Islam in the Clutches of Clergies’. Salafi movement central committee president Ahmed Ansar will preside over the programme.
