Arpora club fire: Birch by Romeo Lane owners remanded to five days of police custody

Mapusa, Dec 17: The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court in Mapusa on Wednesday ordered five days of police custody for Gaurav Luthra and Saurabh Luthra, proprietors of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub, in connection with the recent fire incident at the Arpora venue.

The two brothers were brought before the court following a mandatory medical examination.

After hearing the submissions, the court allowed the investigating agency to take them into custody to facilitate further questioning and probe into the circumstances surrounding the fire.
