Mangaluru, Dec 21: St Aloysius Pre-University College, Mangaluru, organised its alumni eemt on campus, bringing together former students for an evening dedicated to reflection, fellowship, and renewal of ties with the institution.
Extending warm words of welcome to the alumni, the principal, Fr Clifford Sequeira SJ, spoke about how such gatherings provide an opportunity to relive memories and reconnect with the institution and friends.
He observed that the occasion also serves as a moment to acknowledge the vital role played by teachers in shaping their personalities and leaving lasting impact on their lives. Referring to the alumni as Brand Ambassadors, he noted how their achievements have been instrumental in the bringing recognition, goodwill and fame to the College.
Appreciating the alumni who have closely associated with the institution, he thanked them for their continued support to the various activities of the college. He further invited the alumni to extend their support towards the formation of a registered Alumni association and, thereby, further strengthens their bond with college.






































The event featured a series of cultural performances presented by the alumni, including vibrant dance by teams Ira, Static Souls, Reunited, Magnus and Alpha, soulful music by Band Sound House and Band Zenith and riveting rap by Dhanush Shetty. Staff members entertained their former students with games. The performances evoked fond memories of the times spent at SAPUC.
A notable highlight of the meet was the interaction between teachers and their former students. Alumni Jeevan DMello, Shea D’Souza, Carlton and Gabrielle expressed their gratitude for the guidance and mentorship they had received, underscoring the enduring bond between the institution and its alumni.
The programme was compered by alumna Shreya Das and was coordinated by Kevin Fernandes, Department of Physics and his team.
The alumni meet concluded with a fellowship dinner, providing an opportunity for informal interaction and reinforcing the spirit of unity and camaraderie among the alumni community.
