Mangaluru, Dec 23: Milagres College of Nursing celebrated Christmas along with the SNA Investiture ceremony with great joy and enthusiasm in the college campus. The programme began with a prayer song, invoking God’s blessings followed by a warm welcome by Reeshal Ann Jyothi.
The chief guest, Dr Sandhya D’Almeida, professor and head of the department of OBG nursing, Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing, delivered an inspiring address. She shared the Christmas message, emphasizing love, compassion, and service, and wished the newly elected SNA office bearers success and leadership in their future endeavours.

























The SNA investiture ceremony was formally conducted by Diana, Dlima SNA advisor during which the newly elected office bearers took the oath , pledging to uphold the values and responsibilities of the Student Nurses Association.
As part of the Christmas celebrations, a cake-cutting ceremony was held. A special moment of joy was added with the birthday cake cutting of vice principal Jyothi Cutinha, celebrating her birthday along with the festive occasion.
Various cultural and creative activities were organized, including carol singing and crib competition, which showcased the talents of the students. Prizes were distributed to the winners by the dignitaries. The competitions were judged by Vanitha D’Souza and Sr Pravitha.
The correspondent, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, delivered a meaningful Christmas message, highlighting the importance of faith, unity, and sharing during the season.
The programme was graced by Dr Diana Lobo, principal, Milagres College of Nursing, Dr Alwyn Seerao, campus director, Fr Uday Fernandes, principal, Milagres Central School, Jenita Fernandes, in-charge principal, Milagres PU College, and Fr Avith Pais assistant parish priest.
The celebration concluded with a joyful gift exchange and cake distribution, spreading the spirit of Christmas among students and staff. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Venisha
The event was a memorable occasion, reflecting the values of togetherness, leadership, and festive cheer among the Milagres College of Nursing family. The entire event was gracefully compered by Sobiya and Ann Jyothi.
