Mangalore, Feb 22: Sports and Fitness Training Federation of India ® (SFTFI), a member of SAARC Confederation of Physiotherapy, in association with city-based Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy, organized a workshop for the first time total hands on experience on the topic ‘Recent Trends on Taping Techniques’ at Dr M V Shetty College seminar hall on Tuesday February 21.
Dr Chandra Iyer, assistant professor of College of Physiotherapy, Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni, Maharashtra, was the resource person who stated that she is highly privileged to come and impart knowledge to the students on taping techniques which is an upcoming and promising advanced form of treatment for all those concerned with musculoskeletal rehabilitation and prevention of injury.
The specially-abled Abbas Ali from Kankanady was the chief guest on the occasion. SFTFI president Dr U T Iftikar Ali thanked the resource person, student delegates, and the organizing committee for attending the workshop.
Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy principal Dr S Earnest Jacob in his welcome address stated that Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy is the only college to provide students with a number of workshops and seminars which help the students in increasing their knowledge and credibility.
