St Aloysius Gonzaga School clinches overall championship at AICS swimming meet

Mangaluru, Dec 24: St Aloysius Gonzaga School delivered an outstanding performance at the AICS Swimming Competition held at SDM CBSE School, Ujire, on December 6. The team secured an impressive 24 medals, including 4 gold, 7 silver, and 13 bronze, and emerged as the overall champions among 14 categories.

Individual achievements:

Shashank D S: Gold (50m butterfly); silver (50m freestyle, 50m backstroke)

B K Manjesh Suvarna: Silver (medley relay); bronze (freestyle relay)

Nandan M Karkera: Silver (200m IM, medley relay); bronze (freestyle relay)

Zaara Khazi (U16): Bronze (freestyle, butterfly, medley relay, freestyle relay)

Neel M G (U16): Gold (breaststroke); silver (medley relay); bronze (200m IM)

Diya Naik (U14): Gold (200m IM, freestyle); bronze (butterfly, medley relay, freestyle relay)

Shanvi K: Bronze (medley relay, freestyle relay)

Aadvik Bagchi: Bronze (freestyle relay)

Karthika: Bronze (Freestyle relay, medley relay)

The management, staff, and students have congratulated the swimmers for their hard work, determination, and exceptional performance that brought honour to the school.
