Mangaluru, Dec 25: St Agnes School, CBSE, celebrated Christmas with great joy and festive spirit in the school hall on  December 23.

The programme began with a solemn prayer, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Fathima Raneem, who extended cordial greetings to the chief guest, Janet Antony, English teacher, St Agnes School, CBSE, she was warmly welcomed with a flower pot by the coordinator Sr Lavishanthi.

A joyful dance performance by the students showcased their enthusiasm and beautifully conveyed the spirit of celebration. This was followed by melodious carol singing, which added grace to the occasion and spread the true spirit of Christmas.

The programme was honoured by the presence of Janet Antony, a distinguished educator known for her dedication, guidance, and inspiring teaching. She addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, highlighting that our thoughts, words, and actions matter and play a vital role in shaping our lives and society.

The students were encouraged to think positively, speak kindly, and act responsibly. She also shared the meaningful thought, Be a little lamp and light everything around you, motivating everyone to spread positivity through small actions.

The chief guest appreciated and congratulated the students for organizing a meaningful programme and praised the efforts of both teachers and students.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Neethal, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the chief guest, coordinator, the staff, and the students. Followed by the singing of the school anthem.

The Christmas celebration was not only a delightful event but also reinforced the values of kindness, compassion, and community spirit among all present.
