Beltangady: Wild boar attacks motorcycle; rider injured

Beltangady, Dec 28: A biker sustained serious injuries after a wild boar suddenly charged onto the road and attacked his motorcycle at Belaje Alekki in Lail village.

The injured rider has been identified as Sukesh, a resident of Kudeelu in Nada village.

 

He works at a motorcycle showroom in Beltangady and was returning home after work at around 8.45 pm when the incident occurred. He suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru. The motorcycle was also damaged in the attack.

The Laila gram panchayat member Prasad Shetty Eninje and officials from the Beltangady range of the forest department visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
