Mangaluru, Dec 31: Owing to an encouraging response from audiences, additional shows of the Tulu film ‘Jai’ have been added at theatres in and around Mangaluru.

At Bharath Cinemas, Mangaluru, the film will now be screened at 2 pm, while Cine Surathkal Galaxy has added shows at 1.30 pm and 7.15 pm. An additional show has also been introduced at Bharath Cinemas, Deralakatte, at 4.30 pm, theatre sources said.

The film recently completed 46 days of successful theatrical run, reflecting sustained viewer interest. Directed by Roopesh Shetty and also starring Bolywood actor Suniel Shetty, ‘Jai’ is produced under the banner of Shoolin Films, with Manjunath Attavar-Mugrody Productions, and features Geekshith Alva in a key role.

With word-of-mouth publicity continuing to draw crowds, exhibitors decided to increase the number of screenings to meet demand, particularly during evening and weekend hours.
