Neighbours, including members of the Hindu community, accompanied the family to the police station, where a complaint has been submitted. Police said a case will be registered based on the complaint.
Police have secured two of the accused, while one is absconding. It has also been reported that one of the accused later approached a hospital for medico-legal certification, claiming to be a victim. However, videography of the incident has surfaced, providing clarity on the sequence of events to some extent.
