Benoni, Jan 3: The Indian men’s under-19 cricket team will take on South Africa in the first Youth ODI of the three-match series at Willowmoore Park, Benoni, Jan 3. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm IST.

Serving as a final preparation ahead of the ICC U-19 World Cup starting on January 15, the series gives both teams an opportunity to fine-tune their combinations.

Vaibhav Suryavashi will captain India in the series, with Ayush Mhatre sidelined due to a wrist injury. South Africa will be led by Muhammad Bulbulia and will look to strengthen their squad before the marquee tournament.
