Mangaluru, Jan 17: Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty visited the revered Kuthar Koragajja Adisthala, a sacred spiritual centre of the coastal region, on Friday and offered prayers.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Suniel Shetty said that anyone who comes to Mangaluru makes it a point to visit the Koragajja shrine. “Whoever comes here, Koragajja fulfils their wishes. My son, daughter and son-in-law have all visited this place earlier. I too had a strong desire to come here, and that wish has been fulfilled today,” he said.

He added that his son Ahan Shetty’s much-anticipated film Border 2 is set for release, and he had visited the shrine to seek divine blessings for the film’s success.
Suniel Shetty also said that he had earlier acted in the film Jai Tulu with the aim of taking the Tulu language and culture to the global stage. He clarified that at present, he has no other projects lined up in Tulu or Kannada cinema.
On behalf of the Kuthar Koragajja Adisthala, actor Suniel Shetty was felicitated and honoured.
Mumbai-based entrepreneur Vivek Shetty Bolyaguttu, Kuthar Koragajja Adisthala Mahabala Hegde, Deviprasad Shetty, Shriram Rai, and others were present on the occasion.
