Beltangady, Feb 25: Former Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and his wife Anita Kumaraswamy reached Dharmasthala on the night of Friday February 24. Tainted former minister C C Patil too paid a visit to the temple town.

It may be recalled that Patil had to resign on allegations of peeping into a mobile phone in which his ministerial colleague Laxman Savadi was watching porn video clip, when the assembly was in session. Patil, who offered puja to Lord Ganapati here, rested in the guest house.

A little while later, Kumaraswamy and his wife came to Dharmasthala and retired for night at the guest house. Kumaraswamy, after performing Chandika Homa at Kollur, had visited Mangalore before coming to Dharmasthala. Both the leaders are expected to pay obeisance to the presiding deity of Lord Manjunatha Swamy Temple here today. Kumaraswamy is scheduled to leave for Subrahmanya thereafter.
