Panaji, Jan 18: Shreejit Vaibhav Gadgil, a student of Dr K B Hedgewar High School in Valpoi, has been selected to represent Goa in the upcoming Pariksha Pe Charcha session with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The initiative provides a platform for students, teachers, and parents to discuss exams, stress management, and learning strategies.
The selection process involved a competitive online MCQ test held on a government portal from December 1, 2025, to January 11, 2026, open to students from Classes VI to XII, as well as teachers and parents. Schools across Goa submitted one-minute videos of two students answering questions, which were evaluated by the Goa State Council for Educational Research and Training. Each state then forwarded its ten best videos to NCERT for further consideration.

Gadgil, along with Prachi Lokar from Govt High School, Dayanand Nagar, Dharbandora, was shortlisted for a final online interaction with officials from the Union Education Ministry. Following the evaluation, Gadgil was confirmed as Goa’s representative for the interactive session with the Prime Minister.
Chief minister Pramod Sawant congratulated Gadgil on his achievement, highlighting the significance of the initiative in encouraging students to engage constructively on exam-related concerns.
