Udupi, Jan 22: Sharada PU College, Kunjibettu, Udupi, a reputed pre-university institution known for its strong academic culture and value-based education, has announced its in-house scholarship initiative, the Sharada Talent and Merit Scholarship Scheme (STMS), to encourage academic excellence and recognize student talent.
Under the merit-based scholarship category, students securing 95% and above, 90% to 94%, and 85% to 89% in their SSLC examinations will be eligible for financial assistance. In addition, through the Sharada Talent Search Examination (STSE), scholarships will be awarded to the top 10 rank holders and the next 20 rank holders.
In addition, Special Category Scholarships are available for children of defence personnel and frontline workers, State and national-level sports and cultural achievers special category scholarships are also available for children of defence personnel and frontline workers, as well as state and national-level sports and cultural achievers. Financial support is further extended to students from TMA Pai Foundation and Academy of General Education (AGE) institutions, achiever category students scoring 90% and above in PUC, children of employees of MAHE, TMA Pai Foundation, AGE, and Manipal Group, and students from the Konkani-speaking community.
The students will be eligible for only one scholarship, and in cases of multiple eligibility, the most beneficial option will be considered.
